See the site where Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence (a 5 minute stroll from the hotel that was once considered remote quiet countryside), a 100,000-piece stunning mosaic from the Tiffany Studios, an 18^th century English garden, the home of Dolley Todd (who later went on to become Dolley Madison) and Alexander Hamilton’s original concept for a national bank.
