Enjoy a spectacular full-day tour through the rolling hills of Philadelphia's picturesque countryside. Less than an hour's drive from Philadelphia lays the beautiful Brandywine Valley, immortalized on canvas by many artists, including the Wyeth family.
Our deluxe transportation first takes us to the Brandywine River Museum. Exhibiting American art in a 19th-century grist mill, the Brandywine River Museum is internationally known for its unparalleled collection of works by three generations of Wyeths (N.C., Andrew and James) and its fine collection of American illustration, still life and landscape painting.
Next we're off to the world-renowned Longwood Gardens. America's premier horticultural center captivates with 1,050 acres of majestic gardens, natural woodlands and colorful meadows for an hour-long private tour. After the tour we'll have two additional hours to wander at-our-own-pace the twenty spectacular outdoor gardens and four acres of indoor heated greenhouses, enjoy lunch at Longwood's café plus visit the gift shop.
