Centuries of Beauty:  A Cultural Philadelphia Experience

This tour takes you on a journey through Philadelphia's cultural treasures.  Board a deluxe transportation for a tour of outdoor sculpture, murals and architecture that make Philadelphia a cultural beauty including the Rodin Museum and the Philadlephia Museum of Art.

First you will tour to the Rodin Museum, housing the largest collection of Rodin's major works outside of Paris, including bronze castings, plaster studies, drawings, prints, letters, and books. Auguste Rodin (French, 1840-1917) brought monumental public sculpture into the modern era.  His uncanny ability to convey movement and to show the inner feelings of the men and women he portrayed, the bravura of his light-catching modeling, and his extraordinary use of similar figures in different mediums, have established him as one of the greatest sculptors of all time.

Next we'll visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art, America's 3^rd largest art museum with more that 300,000 works of art in 200 rooms, with objects dating from the third millennium B.C.  Each guest will receive a private Audio Tour to explore the museum at our own pace for approximately two hours.  (Lunch, not included, is available at the museum)
