Founding Fathers ... and Mothers

Well behaved women rarely make history!   We'll get up close with the founding fathers . and mothers with this tour experience.  We'll explore the lives of such notable women as Martha Washington, Betsy Ross and Dolley Madison and contrast their contributions to the growth of the young nation to their counterparts Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton and lesser-known Barry, Morris and Kosciuszko.

Starting with the Founding Mothers we'll see the Dolley Todd [Madison] house and tour the Betsy Ross House.

We'll continue our exploration of the Founding Father's work with a trip to the exciting National Constitution Center.   Experience the dramatic story of We, The People from Revolutionary times through and including the Constitution's relevance to today.  Walk among the life-sized bronze statues of 42 men -- the 39 delegates who signed the Constitution and the three who dissented -- in Signers' Hall.  Tour also includes the award-winning live actor theatrical performance of Freedom Rising.
